TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR USE OF THIS SITE
FIRST AND FOREMOST: This site and its products are not intended for viewing or for purchase by minors or by any persons where it is not permitted by law. You must be at least 18 years of age to view or to purchase items from this site, and your purchase of any item from this site must not be prohibited by law in the location from which you are submitting this transaction. You agree to submit transactions for purchase only if you are at least 18 years of age and only if you are legally permitted to do so in the location where you are submitting this transaction. PRIVACY POLICY: We are highly sensitive to the privacy interests of consumers and believe that the protection of those interests is one of our most significant responsibilities. We have adopted the following Privacy Policy applicable to information about consumers that www.ReedMassengill.com acquires in the course of its business: COPYRIGHT: By entering and using this site, you have agreed to abide by the terms of the owner's and artists' copyrights to the images and content on this site, so it is important to understand the legal protections that copyright provides to the creators and owners of these images and all other content on this site. By posting text and images on this website, absolutely no rights are granted to you as a visitor to this site for the retention, distribution, transfer, or reproduction of any of these images or text in any form. Attempting to save, copy or download any of the images or text contained within this site with the intent to distribute, redistribute or duplicate them in any form, in any medium without the copyright owner's written permission, (including, but not limited to, printing them, E-mailing them, saving them to your hard drive or another retrieval medium, or posting them on another website), is strictly prohibited under the copyright laws of the United States. The public areas of this site are exempt from the requirements of Title 18, USC 2257. DIGIMARC® TECHNOLOGY: This site licenses digital watermark technology that allows us to embed a digital code that is imperceptible during normal use, but is readable by computers and software. In this way, we are able to track and monitor unauthorized use of our images online. RETURN POLICY AND SATISFACTION GUARANTEE: Collectors of photographs whether vintage prints or contemporary work have high standards. I know that because I have been a collector myself for many years. My return policy and satisfaction guarantee are very simple: I will gladly refund your purchase price within 30 days if for any reason you are unhappy with it. Please contact me immediately upon receipt of any print with which you are not satisfied. You will be eligible for a full refund of your purchase price (but not shipping or handling charges) if you have notified me in writing within 30 days of your purchase that you are unhappy with it. Please carefully pack and return the print to me at my physical address, which is: CONDITION: All new or contemporary prints are noted as such, and therefore, their condition is presumed to be excellent. I take great pains in attempting to accurately describe any flaws or condition problems that may exist with any of the vintage or vernacular prints I offer, but I realize that there will be isolated cases in which my own assessment may not jive with the buyer's. Therefore, if you should receive a print that does not in your opinion match its description, please contact me about the problem and refer to the satisfaction guarantee above. ONLINE IMAGES VS. PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTS: It is important to keep in mind that the images you see online will never look exactly like the actual photographic print. The actual photographic prints generally will have a bit more information (slightly more image area or margin) than the online images, which in some cases have by necessity lost a bit of information to fit the space int. Actual photographic prints will always have greater detail and will be of much higher quality, and in some cases particularly when dealing with an original negative that is 50 years old there will also be some minor flaws that are inherent in the negative. These will be corrected in the darkroom and spotting process to whatever extent possible, but please be mindful that the creation of archival photographic prints is still done by hand, to exacting specifications.
